This segment addresses the general principles of the legal framework of international arbitration agreements under the New York Convention, national arbitration legislation and the UNCITRAL Model Law; the presumptive validity and enforcement of international arbitration agreements; and consent as one of arbitration’s jurisdictional requirements.
